Introducing Organizations and Team Collaboration on Hipa.ai

In 2024, we added many valuable new features to Hipa.ai, and we’re not stopping there. Today, we’re introducing improvements designed to help you and your team work more efficiently. Here’s what’s new:

    🏢 Organizations

Organizations in Hipa.ai are separate workspaces that help you keep your content plan organized. By default, all your content lives on the Content plan page, but now you can create individual organizations for each project or client. Each organization will contain:

    • Only the articles and blog posts you add under it
    • Its own content update plan
    • Separate team member access

Built for agencies and large organizations

For agencies: Create a dedicated workspace for each client you manage. Keep their articles, content updates, and goals separate from other projects. Your team can easily switch between clients and work with the right content every time.

For large organizations: Set up different Organizations to manage multiple blogs or sub-brands efficiently. Whether you have regional websites, product-specific blogs, or different departments running their own content—each gets a separate workspace, making it easier to maintain consistent content update plan and content strategy.

    How it helps your team:

    • All content stays organized in its dedicated workspace
    • Switch between projects without mixing up content
    • Focus on specific content goals for each client or blog
    • Work efficiently without searching through unrelated content

To create a new organization on Hipa.ai:

    1. Go to https://hipa.ai/, click your profile icon in the top-right corner and select Settings.
    2. In the left panel of the page, click on your default organization.
    3. Select Create new organization from the dropdown menu.
    4. Enter the organization name and press Enter.

(Optional) If needed, go to ORGANIZATION section > General tab to update the name.

    Billing for Organizations

Each organization operates as a separate workspace with its own billing. When you create a new organization, it will have its own subscription, making it easier to manage expenses for different projects or clients.

    👥 Team collaboration

This feature lets you add team members to a specific organization and collaborate in one place instead of having separate Hipa.ai accounts. Here’s how it works:

    • Admin rights give team members full access to manage content and organization settings
    • Reader roles provide limited access for viewing and reviewing content
    • Coming soon: Editor role to work with content plan and content updates without administrative access
    • Everyone in the organization can work simultaneously, seeing changes in real time
    • Updates sync instantly across all team. No more duplicate work with timely content updates

    To invite members on Hipa.ai:

    1. Click your profile icon and select Settings.
    2. Go to the Memberstab and click the +Invite button.
    3. Enter the email of the person (or people) you’d like to invite.
    4. Select the role—Admin or Reader and click Invite.

Invited members will receive an email to join the organization.

Ready to organize your content management better? Use these new features in Hipa.ai to improve organization and efficiency for your team or clients.

  • Does Google Forbid AI-Generated Content? What the Official Documentation Says

Google does not explicitly forbid AI-generated content. However, Google emphasizes the importance of creating high-quality, helpful content primarily for people rather than search engines, regardless of how it is produced.

    According to Google’s official guidance:

    1. The use of AI or automation is not against Google’s guidelines, as long as it is not primarily used to manipulate search rankings.
    2. Google’s systems are designed to reward high-quality content that demonstrates expertise, experience, authoritativeness, and trustworthiness (E-E-A-T), regardless of how it is produced.
    3. Google advises creators to focus on creating “people-first content” rather than “search engine-first content.” This applies to both human-written and AI-generated content.
    4. Google’s spam policies have been updated to address “scaled content abuse,” which includes using generative AI tools to produce large amounts of content primarily to manipulate search rankings.
    5. For specific platforms like YouTube, Google requires disclosure of AI-generated or synthetically altered content that appears realistic.

While Google does not outright ban AI-generated content, it emphasizes that content should be created to benefit users, not just to rank in search results. The key factors are the quality, relevance, and value of the content to users, rather than the method of production.

  • How Regular Content Updates with AI Helped Us Gain New Keywords and Triple Leads

How Regular Content Updates with AI Helped Us Gain New Keywords and Triple Leads

We wanted to share a case study about how regular updates to existing content helped us improve rankings and generate more leads in a competitive niche. This is for resources.instafill.ai, a Docusaurus site that helps people in the U.S. fill out tax and legal forms.

The niche is crowded with established competitors, but focusing on existing content instead of creating new pages made a big difference for us.

    The Process

We updated 4-5 articles in November 2024, rolling out changes in 3-4 batches. The updates were generated using Hipa.ai, which suggested ways to improve the content.

At first, we applied the changes manually since we didn’t yet have GitHub integration. Now that GitHub is integrated, updates can be scheduled and applied automatically. We still review all suggestions to make sure they align with our goals.

The site is built on Docusaurus, and Hipa.ai fully supports both Docusaurus and Markdown-based workflows. This made it easy to apply updates with the rich text formatting native to Docusaurus.

    Time Investment

The process took about 1.5-2 hours total, mostly spent reviewing suggestions and implementing changes manually.

Hipa.ai uses OpenAI’s o1 model, one of the most advanced models available, to analyze content and suggest targeted updates. This helped focus our efforts on actionable improvements rather than generic tweaks.

With GitHub integration now in place, we expect to save ~80% of this time in future updates.

    The Results

Here’s what we saw after updating just these 4 pages:

    • Before updates: 5-10 leads/day
    • After updates: 20-30 leads/day

    The increase came from:

    1. New keywords: The suggestions helped us target additional search terms.
    2. Improved rankings: Existing keywords moved up the SERPs.
    3. Better visibility: The site appeared more often in search results, which also improved credibility.

Here’s a key detail: none of the updated articles saw a decline in any keyword rankings. Every keyword either improved or remained stable, which was critical for maintaining overall performance.

Below is the Ahrefs screenshot showing the improved and new keywords:

    Why Regular Updates Worked

Updating existing content worked well because Google seems to favor regularly refreshed pages. We noticed that rankings for the updated articles improved almost immediately.

On the flip side, new content can take longer to gain traction. Google appears to wait before fully indexing and ranking new pages, likely to assess quality. This makes updating existing pages a faster and more reliable strategy.

    About the Site

The site we’re referring to is Instafill.ai Resources. It was registered in 2023 and has an Ahrefs DR of 26. While it’s relatively new, regular updates allowed us to:

    • Pick up dozens of new keywords on existing pages.
    • Boost existing keyword rankings.
    • Triple daily leads from just a small batch of updated articles.
    • Maintain stability: not a single keyword declined or lost positions during this update process.

It’s built on Docusaurus, which, combined with Hipa.ai’s support for Markdown, made the process of updating and formatting articles smooth and efficient.

Here’s the Google Search Console screenshot of clicks and impressions for the site:

    Next Steps

We’re now planning to update more articles to see if this approach works at scale.

Have you tried regularly updating older content? If you’re interested in growing your site’s traffic, we thought you might find Hipa.ai helpful. Give it a try and let us know what you think. We’d love to hear your thoughts!
