In this post, you’ll find answers to common questions about how our credit system works. Whether you’re on a free or paid plan, this guide explains everything you need to know about using credits for AI actions on your blog posts.
How Credits Are Used
Every time you perform an AI action on a blog post during your billing cycle (this applies to both free and paid plans), one credit is deducted. For example, if you analyze a blog post to generate ideas, create changes, or regenerate diffs using any AI model, one credit is used for that post during the current billing cycle. Once you’ve spent a credit on a particular post, you can make unlimited revisions and use all available AI functions on that post until your next billing cycle begins.
Adding Blog Posts: Two Methods
There are two ways to add blog posts to Hipa.ai:
Home Page:
When you add a blog post URL and click “Analyze blog posts and generate ideas” on the home page, an AI operation is triggered immediately. This action counts as one credit usage. Once a credit is spent on a post, you can update it as much as you want during the current billing cycle.
Using the Import Feature:
The Import feature lets you add multiple blog post URLs to your dashboard without triggering any AI operations. In this case, no credits are consumed during the import process. Credits are only deducted later when you select one of these imported posts and perform an AI action (for example, generating ideas or creating changes).
Your Monthly Cycle
Your monthly cycle begins on your sign-up or billing date and lasts for one month. At the start of each new cycle, you receive a fresh set of credits according to your plan. For instance, if you sign up on March 7, your credits will expire on April 7, and new credits will be issued on that date.
What Happens When You Run Out of Credits
If you use all your credits before the month ends, you will not be able to perform additional AI actions until the next cycle. However, you can still work on the blog posts that already have credits applied to them this month. If you need more credits immediately, you can upgrade your plan to access a higher monthly credit limit.
Free vs. Paid Plans
Both free and paid plans offer the same AI-powered features with no limitations on functionality. The primary difference is the number of credits you receive each month.
- Free Plan: Provides 10 credits per month, which may suit smaller blogs or users who are just trying out Hipa.ai.
- Paid Plans: Offer higher credit allotments ranging from 50 to 1,000 credits per month, making them ideal for managing larger blogs or multiple sites.
Tracking and Upgrading
You can monitor your remaining credits in your account Settings under the Usage tab. This section shows your current credit balance, usage history, and your upcoming renewal date so that you always know your monthly allocation.

If your content needs grow, you can upgrade your plan at any time to gain access to a higher monthly credit limit. Upgrades take effect immediately, ensuring you always have the capacity you need to keep your content fresh and up to date.
